Dr. Julie Hereford, DPT


Dr. Julie Hereford is a doctor of physical therapy and owner of CORE Rehab Services, Inc.  She has 25 years of experience in physical therapy practice and teaching.  She has specialized in manual and manipulative therapy and orthopedics.  She has practiced in multiple areas of physical therapy such as sports medicine (including work with a professional baseball team), work injury management, multidisciplinary chronic pain management, treatment of tempromandibular joint dysfunction and women's health. 
 

 


 


Lori, a past patient of PRI, is a Certified Athletic Trainer, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, a licensed physical therapy assistant and a USA Rugby Level II certified coach.  She has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri in food and human nutrition.  Lori’s emphasis is in sports injuries, repetitive use injuries, injury prevention and rehabilitation.  This focus has driven her to learn a broad range of treatment approaches in order to best suit the needs of the individual patient.  She now practices a myokinamatic strategy, emphasizing and implementing the techniques of Postural Restoration.  As a patient of PRI therapy she has first hand experience in the positive changes the Postural Restoration Approch can make.

 
 


 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

 
Karen Bromeier, PT 
Karen Received a Master of Physical Therapy degree from Saint Louis University in Januaryof 2006.  Her undergraduate training is in excercise science.  Karen has been in practice since 2006, with one year of experience in an inpatient setting prior to working at CORE Services.  She has received additional training in manual therapy, the PRI approach, TMJ Intervention and treating the nervous system.  She sees patients with TMJ and neck problems, back pain, chronic pain, various injuries and other orthopedic and neuroogical problems.
 
Karen enjoys teaching patients about how the body works and building relationship with them.  Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially if it involves something oudoors like hiking.

Lesley Serben, PT
 

Lesley Serben is a recent graduate from the University of Missouri, Columbia where she was a class officer and very active in activities such as the Wheelchair Relay and Run for Life. Just before graduation she completed a seven week clinical rotation at CORE Services, Inc. where she became familiar with the wonderful staff and patients. She is extremely excited to begin her career and continue to grow as a therapist with CORE. She enjoys watching TV, playing volleyball, seeing shows at the Muny, and anything else involving Forest Park.
